V/H/S/Beyond takes the long-running anthology series into the realm of science fiction, swapping ghosts and demons for aliens and robots. While segments like Kate Siegel’s “Stowaway” and the Long brothers’ “Fur Babies” offer genuine creativity and disturbing concepts, much of the collection feels like a mid-quality side project. Hampered by generic action, poor CG, and a nauseating overuse of analogue filters, it’s a functional but unexciting addition to the franchise that only die-hard fans need apply for.
